Congratulations to Peter Vardy Ltd on their success in obtaining the prestigious two star status from the UK Best Companies awards 2009 sponsored by the Sunday Times. Representatives of the company received the award at a recent ceremony in London. After only three years in business, it is a remarkable achievement to be ranked among well known and established names.
Peter Vardy Ltd retails new and used cars from four locations around Scotland and has franchises with BMW, Chevrolet, Mini and Vauxhall. The headquarters office was set up in the Wright Business Centre early in 2007.

Mpathy Medical Devices Ltd has announced success in raising new equity finance from Archangel Informal Investment and Scottish Enterprise which will be used to launch its products in the USA. The company was founded by Consultant Gynaecologist, Dr. James Browning to develop and market a range of innovative surgical mesh solutions used to restore pelvic health to women.

One of the companies most recently located into the Wright Business Centre has received some encouraging support from the Scottish Government.
Ocutec Ltd has invented an advanced materials technology which has particular applications in the medical field. The company is currently focused on developing a new type of superior disposable contact lens. Their work was recognised by Enterprise Minister, Jim Mather when he announced the award of a grant from the SMART Scotland scheme. The award will help Ocutec Ltd to develop and commercialise their technological innovations. |
